AAZK serves as a professional development and conservation resource for zookeepers nationally. We are very proud of the funding we provide for conservation worldwide and the conferences we send our keepers to improve their skills.

Bowling for Rhinos is the highlight of the year for all 80 AAZK chapters nation-wide. AAZK Los Angeles is proud to have raised over $450,000 for this worthy cause total, and to hold the record for funds raised in one year of $73,000!

Laughs for Giraffes is an annual event  to raise funds for Giraffe Conservation and raise awareness to World Giraffe Day, which is June 21st every year (Longest day of the year for the longest neck in the wild)

Thanks to California Pizza Kitchen in Burbank, CA for hosting our wombat fundraiser. Thanks to your food sales and t-shirt sales, wombats in Australia got an over $800 bump in their conservation!
