Laughs for Giraffes
Giraffe populations have declined by 40% over the past 30 years. That's nothing to laugh at, yet laughing is exactly how we plan to help protect this magnificent species. On SATURDAY, JUNE 19 we ask you to join us at Pacific Plate Brewery in Monrovia, CA for our first in person event in over a year! A night of live comedy, food, drinks, silent auction and fun. All Proceeds will support the giraffe conservation through Global Conservation Force.

How does the money raised help giraffe conservation?
- US$5 could provide food for a ranger in the field for one day
- US$15 could pay for notebooks and pens to record giraffe observations in the wild
- US$25 could pay for batteries for GPS units to monitor giraffe, their threats and movements in the wild
- US$50 could cover all field costs, uniform and salary of a ranger who is actively saving giraffe in Uganda for one day
- US$100 could pay for a hand-held GPS unit to allow rangers to monitor giraffe, their threats and movements in the wild
- US$250 could pay for a digital camera (including GPS) to help rangers identify giraffe and track their movements as well as for anti-poaching efforts
- US$500 could pay for a camera trap, including batteries and SD cards to monitor giraffe and their movements in the wild
- US$1,000 could pay for all field costs, uniform and salary of a ranger who is actively saving giraffe in Uganda for one month
- US$2,500 could pay for one GPS satellite unit to monitor giraffe movements remotely (incl. download time)
